SunStrong customers
Dealing with SunStrong? Start with a letter they have to answer.
Updated October 22, 2026.
If your Sunnova, SunPower or PosiGen lease or PPA is now with SunStrong Management, you've probably heard “we're working on it” more times than you can count. Calls leave no record. A dated letter does.
What owners tell me
- “My system is dead and they still bill me.” Billed while down.
- “My credit never came.” When the outage credit is due.
- “It's on my credit report and I don't owe it.” Who answers what.
- “Paying a monthly fee just to see my own system.” Connecticut's Attorney General lists complaints about SunStrong “charging consumers a $10 monthly fee to receive data regarding their solar system's production.”
- “My home sale is stuck on the transfer.” Selling with a SunStrong lease.
The SunStrong outage letter
I write it for you from your own agreement, bills and production record: a dated letter to SunStrong that puts the facts on the record, quotes your agreement and asks for a written answer by a date. You read and approve it, then send it yourself. If no written answer comes within 30 days, the follow-up letter is free.
A written record for $99; attorneys typically charge more.
$99 flat, ready in 3 business days.
Have it written for you, $99 or email jon@solarstillworks.com
“After the letter was sent, it was mere days that they got back to me with a much more positive email looking into all our issues causing the total system to be down.”
Tami B., SunStrong customer
What happened next: after her letter, SunStrong answered in writing within days, saying it would put billing and collections on hold, cancel auto-pay and set up a deferment while it looks into the system. See page 1 of her letter.
Selling the house?
The Home Sale or Buyout Packet, $249: a dated demand that quotes your transfer or buyout terms and gives your agent and title company a date to point to.

What this page isn't
It isn't legal advice. Agreements and state rules differ, and your own agreement wins over anything general here. I prepare documents at your direction; you review, sign and send them yourself.
