Questions

Do I still have to pay the loan?

Yes. The loan was made by a lender, not the installer, and it is serviced by whoever holds it now. The Packet tells the buyer's side exactly what happens to it at closing, which is what unsticks the sale.

My installer went bankrupt. Does that scare buyers?

It scares them when nobody can answer the questions. The Packet answers them on paper, dated, with the method shown. That is usually the end of the conversation.

Can a buyer use this?

Yes. It builds from information you can gather at a showing: the inverter label, the panel count, the install date on the permit, and the seller's lifetime production figure.
